23rd October 2024 Ginetta Owners ClubStand 2-450 Roy Burrell from Coventry is a member of the Ginetta Owners Club. He owns a Ginetta G15 which will form part of Ginetta Owners Club display at the NEC. There is an interesting story behind Roy and his car.  The G15 was built by Ginetta for display at the 1968 Motor Show, it is the 13th one built. Roy purchased the car in 1979 as his everyday transport. On holidays it would carry Roy, his wife Carol and their three children. Above is a photograph of the whole family with the car in 1982. CLICK HERE to see video taken at show!! |

22nd October 2024 Club Marcos InternationalStand 2-460 The Marcos Marque celebrates its 65th anniversary in 2024, when Jem Marsh and Frank Costin took the first three letters of their surnames to devise a name for the new company founding the Marcos marque in 1959.  Like many of the other small British manufacturers around this time Marcos earned its reputation on the racetrack. This continued through the 60s with entries to Le Mans and onto 1995 when Marcos once again took to the track at Le Mans. 2025 marks the 30th Anniversary of this return of Marcos to the track. 22nd October 2024 Austin Ten Drivers ClubStand: 5-880 To celebrate 40 years of the Classic Motor Show at the NEC, Birmingham the Austin Ten Drivers Club (ATDC) has been looking through its archives, looking at old photographs and reminiscing about previous years’ shows.  To celebrate the 40th year of the show the ATDC will be displaying a range of club-eligible cars including Alan Hipkins’ magnificent 1936 Austin 20 Mayfair limousine which is a returning favourite to the ATDC stand. This years Jowett Garage theme will see a superb display of Jowetts set into a period garage scene complete with workshop, tools, parts department, service desk & office, all staff on hand will be in dress of the period.
