Under the Hall of Fame, the club plans to have at least two cars which have completed the Le Mans 24 Hr race, and a 1910 Runabout 3-wheeler, the first commercially available Morgan.

A get-together followed at Silverstone on 29th July 1970 with a total of 16 Gordon-Keebles assembled near Woodcote Corner. Ernie was voted Chairman of what would become the Gordon-Keeble Owners’ Club.

A quarterly newsletter was introduced and the Owners’ Index was established, listing each car’s chassis number, registration plate, owner’s details, interior and exterior colours and any modifications to the cars.

To celebrate their 40th Anniversary, the NEC Classic Motor Show 2024 are raising the bar with their very own Hall of Fame display at Stand 730 in Hall 4, curated by the renowned Lord Loxley. The lineup features iconic and legendary vehicles, each with a fascinating story to tell.

1956 MGA Coupe

Starting with the 1950 Nash Healey Prototype. This historic car made its debut at the Mille Miglia, driven by none other than Donald Healey himself.

The same year, it competed at Le Mans with Duncan Hamilton and Tony Rolt behind the wheel, drivers who would go on to win Le Mans in a Jaguar C Type in 1953.

On their stand they will be showcasing two rare models that highlight the evolution of the seven-seater wagon.The 1963 SAAB 95 with a two-stroke engine, representing the early engineering that made SAAB famous and the 1971 SAAB 95 featuring the later four-stroke V4 engine, which added power and versatility.

Their display will feature the original 1983 prototype Naylor TF1700, which holds the distinction of being the first chassis ever produced, showcasing unique features that didn’t make it to the production model. Alongside it will be two production models.

Based near Hastings, a small team headed by Chris Keith-Lucas and Guy Black created one of the most beautiful cars ever conceived – LYNX Eventer*.

The name had been taken from the British Riley Lynx. Based on the XJS sports coupé, it was easily the most quintessentially British vehicle in existence at the time – or ever.
