6th February 2025 Matt Neal returns to Race Retro 2025 |
|
Triple British Touring Car Champion Matt Neal, who is also a record six-time BTCC Independents Champion, will be talking about his career as well as signing autographs for enthusiasts at the three-day show. Starting in Motorcross, Matt moved into cars in 1988, driving in the Ford Fiesta XR2i category. He was the British Group N Champion in 1990 and 1991, before making his BTCC debut with Pyramid Motorsport at Silverstone in a BMW M3. |

6th February 2025 Jason Plato returns to Race Retro 2025! |
|
Jason Plato started his motorsport career in karting before moving onto Formula Three and Formula Renault. He was British Touring Car Champion in 2001 for Vauxhall and again in 2010 for Silverline Chevrolet. He finished in the top three in the Championship 12 times and holds the record for the most overall race wins in the BTCC. Jason retired at the of 2022 season. |

6th February 2025 Mike Wilds to make welcome return! |

Following his debut in 2023, the ever versatile and charismatic Mike Wilds will be at Reis Race Retro all three days. Mike began racing in 1965 and has competed in a vast array of machinery, including Formula 3, Formula 5000, Le Mans prototypes, GTs and Touring Cars, driving for works teams and collecting 12 British Championships along the way. |

5th February 2025 Ian Flux makes Race Retro debut! |
|
On the ‘Talk Motorsport Stage’ making his Race Retro Debut will be Ian Flux. Fluxie has driven classics, single seaters, touring cars, and endurance racers with championship cups to prove it. Whilst destined to race, he never got the biggest breaks, but he did become one of motorsport’s most colourful and best-loved characters. |

5th February 2025 Rauno Aaltonen makes Race Retro return! |

Making his debut at Reis Race Retro in 2019 Finnish rally legend Rauno Aaltonen, known as one of the Flying Finns of rallying, returns to Race Retro 2025. |

Before the World Rally Championship was established, Rauno competed in the European Rally Championship, winning in 1965 with co-driver Tony Ambrose. He also won the Finnish Rally Championship in 1961 and 1965. |

Chris Bristow’s MG Special, makes public debut at Race Retro! A unique MG barn find that was raced by the late British Formula 1 driver, Chris Bristow will make its first public appearance at this year’s show. Coinciding with the launch of BHP Publishing’s latest book, ‘Forever Young Six Lost Talents of Motor Racing’, the MG Special will be revealed thanks to ‘Bristow Sports Cars’.
