It doesn’t matter if you’re a novice or quite experienced in marshalling they can help you in this area! Why don’t you come and try it out for a day or the weekend and get a little bit closer to the action and implement the safety aspects of the sport whilst having a great weekend of motorsport?

Russell Brookes was undoubtedly one of the most famous rally drivers the UK has ever produced and his long-term association with his sponsor, Andrews Heat for Hire, forged a lasting impression in the minds and hearts of British rally fans.

During its 20 year reign, the Countach went on to create its own cult following as the poster car of the 1980s, pinned to many a bedroom wall and the car most teenagers dreamed of owning.

Born in Montpellier and initially an ambulance driver, Auriol started rallying in an old Simca 1000. After winning his first French Rallye Championship in 1986 behind the wheel of a Metro 6R4, he repeated his success in 1987 and 1988 but this time in a works Ford Sierra RS Cosworth.

Auriol made his name in the WRC throughout the 1990s. He was the first Frenchman to win the Championship. He also drove for manufacturers including Lancia, Toyota, and Peugeot amongst others during his career.

As well as driving in a replica of the Cosworth on the Reis Live Rally Stage on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd February, Auriol will be interviewed and taking fans’ questions on the interview stage. He will also be available to sign autographs.

Ingram, a long-time supporter of Race Retro since he started rallying, has a raft of trophies to his name including the 2012 Motor Sports Association Young Driver of the Year Award, and the European Rally Championship Colin McRae Flat Out Award won on the Circuit of Ireland Rally 2014, Rallye Açores 2015, and Rally Liepaja in 2017. He also won the Richard Burns Trophy on Wales Rally GB in 2017 for winning the Two-Wheel drive class.

In 2014, Ingram became the youngest manufacturer-backed rally driver since Richard Burns in the European Rally Championship driving a Peugeot 208 R2.

After two seasons with Peugeot, he signed with German factory team Opel Motorsport, something he credits to the late great Russell Brookes.
