Matt Neal makes Race Retro debut

Triple British Touring Car Champion Matt Neal will make his debut at Race Retro, powered by Motor Sport, at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, on Saturday 24 February.

Matt, who is also a record six-time BTCC Independents Champion, will talk about his career as well as signing autographs for enthusiasts at the three-day show.

Starting in Motorcross, Matt moved into cars in 1988, driving in the Ford Fiesta XR2i category. He was the British Group N Champion in 1990 and 1991, before making his BTCC debut with Pyramid Motorsport at Silverstone in a BMW M3. Click Here to read more…..

Arrows and Ensign join in ground-effects celebration

The celebration of the 40th anniversary of Formula 1’s ground-effects era at this year’s Race Retro, powered by Motor Sport, has added two more racing heroes to it’s not-to-be-missed tribute at Stoneleigh Park from 23-25 February – a 1982 Arrows A4 and an Ensign N180.

The Arrows A4 was used in the 1982 season by the Arrows Grand Prix International team, which was founded in Milton Keynes, in 1977. The team took its name from the initial of the surname of its founders – Italian businessman Franco Ambrosio, Alan Rees, Jackie Oliver, Dave Wass and Tony Southgate, when they left the Shadow team.
